99% Invisible - Design driven podcast
Posted by Shiva
I was introduced to this design focused podcast via the TED talk that Roman Mars had done about flags of different countries. Since then have been an avid fan of the entire series. Love that they are shorter than most podcasts of equivalent merit but still hold your attention. They find subjects that are the intersection of design and societal life with a keen eye towards changing our perception on everyday life. They did one on this phone booth in the middle of the Mojave desert that I have now listened to multiple times and it never fails to enrich as well as enlighten me. Here it is https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/mojave-phone-booth/ Read More...
Nasal to Palate Om blow
Posted by Meredith
Namaste Yogis & Yoginis - I have been trying to inculcate a meditation practice in my daily life for sometime now and wanted to share one particular aspect of it that has not only elevated the experience but also allowed me to finally get beyond the blank mind paradox. It is widely known as the Om Exhale and there are few differing variations on how it can be done. My favorite one is where I lightly open my mouth (smaller than I would if I were to blow out a small birthday candle on a cupcake) and then let slip out while saying "Om". Its mostly a nasal blow through and I touch my tongue to upper palate while doing it. There is a vibration within my mouth which then encompasses my cranial cavity. At certain times when my mind is blank, I can feel the vibrations reverberating through the rest of my body as well. If any of you have a different variation on this then please let me know. Quarantine Binge Watch from Stanford

Avid fan of online lectures and courses which tend to be raw in their delivery and production. Tad biased towards Stanford's ETL series not just because it happens to be my Alma Mater but they truly do seem provide a platform for some of these uber successful entrepreneurs (most who do seem to have a link to the Bay Area) and getting them to share some vague but key aspects of the startup journey. I immensely liked the one with the founders of Slack primarily since they dont get interviewed often (or maybe they cons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDa2PeSmFuM Read More...

30 Day Yoga Program

I like this program because it incorporates a little bit of strength training. Still very much yoga focused, but it keeps you moving.
